Adam’s Ceramic Wipes are a state of the art, pre-saturated and easy to use cloth that provides a layer of ceramic protection over trim and headlight surfaces. Our previous offering of trim coating and exterior trim protection was incredibly easy to use and restored vibrant color back to any color trim to leave long-lasting surface protection. With changes in chemistry and advancements in ceramic-related science, we are now able to implement the effectiveness of a ceramic coating into the simplicity of a wipe! Not only does this control overusing chemicals, but it makes cleanup a breeze as you dispose of the wipe after use!
For Use On Plastic & Trim:
Step 1: Start with Adam’s Surface Prep and Edgeless Utility Towel and fold the towel into fourths. To ensure proper application and bonding with the surface, thoroughly clean your plastic and trim with Trim Cleaner and an Edgeless Utility Towel. Prepare your trim and use Adam’s Surface Prep and edgeless utility towel to clean and degrease the surface of any existing protection or residual films. Spritz each surface with a direct spray and once into the towel to optimally clean the surface.
Step 2: Remove the Ceramic Trim & Headlight wipe from the packaging and the pair of gloves. With the gloves on, open and remove the contents of the wipe and begin the coating process. Begin to work the product into the surface, ensuring full coverage over the desired area. Since the product is being applied to a porous plastic surface, you will not see a rainbow/ flashing effect— the immediate color change of the plastic or trim will reveal where the product has been applied. After about 2-3 minutes, wipe the trim using our Edgeless Utility Towel.
Step 3: Allow coating to fully cure for 1-2 hours, free from elements or weathering. Not allowing optimal time will force the coating to cure with whatever elements touches it during the curing process. Once cured, you’re free to enjoy the open road and have clean, dressed plastic & trim no matter how harsh the conditions.
For Use on Headlights & Taillights:
Step 1: Start by using Adam’s Surface Prep and supplied Edgeless Utility Towel and fold the towel into fourths. Prepare your headlights and use Adam’s Surface Prep and edgeless utility towel to clean and degrease the surface of any existing protection or residual films. Spritz each surface with a direct spray and once into the towel to optimally clean the surface. For heavily oxidized headlights and taillights, we recommend restoration and polishing with our Headlight Restoration Kit.
Step 2: Remove the supplied Ceramic Trim & Headlight wipe from the packaging and the pair of gloves. With the gloves on, open and remove the contents of the wipe and begin the coating process. Begin to work the product into the surface, ensuring full coverage over the desired area. Since the product is being applied to a clear plastic surface, the flashing effect could be difficult to see— the immediate clarity change of the headlight or taillight lens will reveal where the product has been applied. To ensure full coverage, start from left to right and crosshatch the headlight using an up-down, side-to-side motion.
